Inspiration
Presenting the Prairie Planter! A modular planter that is all about creating a composition with plants. By adjusting each unit in different orientations, one can play with the shape and placement.The design takes inspiration from how things in nature grow on uneven, unexpected surfaces.
While creating a planter I thought not just about the form but also the way the glaze would be applied. I imagine the glaze being sprayed to create a gradient effect. I began with a round of ideation sketches followed by creating 3D models and renders to communicate the idea.
